… or he has decent game, because she’s pretty cute. What they’re both wearing is ridiculous, but you don’t need me to tell you that.
Knit Ties
A knit tie is great to wear in Spring and Summer. It’s a bit more casual but it’s still a tie. For me, it’s one of the signs that spring really has come.
I remember Macy’s having a sale on these a couple years ago and I snagged a few for $10 each. I’ve also managed to find some at the same price at TJ Maxx.
Well the Tie Bar is having a sale on some loud ties for $15. I’d suggest grabbing one or two. Even if you go with conservative colors (like I did) the make of the tie is unique.
Age Doesn’t Matter
Yes there are certain things you can only wear at a certain age. A mustache if you’re well to do is only passable on older men. Skate shoes and a baseball cap apply to the younger crowd.
But having some color and personality to your wardrobe is not limited to a certain age group. I actually think it looks better the older you get.
Case in point.
These look like…
… they could be a pair of work shoes instead of expensive Oxfords. The colors and the fact that Timberland decided to use suede are what gives them that worn-in look. Pretty cool.
Conflicted
I don’t like a whole lot of graphic prints on shirts. It tends to look sloppy.
That being said, I really like laurel leaves in design. I’m working on a logo for the site and laurel leaves keeping coming back. They’re classic and unapologetic.
So I’m conflicted about whether or not I’d wear this sweatshirt given the opportunity.
Would you?
