While I won’t say that shiny bling is unmasculine, it’s too excessive for my taste. I appreciate some jewelry here and there but I like mine to be a bit more subdued. Here’s a good alternative.
It’s a brass railroad spike. Metal. Masculine. But it’s a duller metal so it won’t be too flashy.
Contrast this outfit with my post from this morning. Most men make the mistake of dressing appropriately but not dressing well. As your style game steps up, it’s easy to fall into the trap of dressing well (or stylishly or fashionably) without dressing appropriately. Sometimes you shouldn’t stand out and it’s just as important to know how to fit in well as it is to know how to stand.
