Fabric and color of the 2 piece work for the high low and the shirt ties it all together but the tie- ugh. Too bold by far. I’d go with plain and ditch the stripes.
Over all 8/10
I agree, the tie becomes distracting. I’d prefer a solid color for it. Still overall looks good. I like how the pocket square really pops.
What is going on with the belt? Did the buckle get twisted?
I its the end of the tie rather than a belt.
Agree with what’s been said above. He’s at least trying to vary the pattern sizes with very wide stripes on the tie, but, unlike the jacket’s subtle pattern, the shirt and tie patterns are both extremely bold and don’t go well together.
I also think brown is a great color for the jacket/vest to pull this off with. It has an inherently more casual vibe than, say, blue or grey.
Jacket sleeve length seems like it might be a bit too short.
On balance, though, this is a really sharp look. I’m more than a little jealous of how good the jacket and vest look (been keeping my eye out for an affordable brown jacket like this without much luck).
I love doing this!
