I have a favor to ask anyone who’s taken advantage of any of my services in the past. As my business expands I’m looking for ways to be able to reach out to other men who need my help and convince them that it’s worth the time and money to sit down with me. If you’ve done any type of consultation with me over the last few months and feel like you’ve gotten your money’s worth, please send me an email at tanner(at)masculine-style(dot).com telling me what you ordered and what you liked about it. I can use first names, full names, or pseudonyms as you prefer and will be posting a review page for future clients to see.

This is as good a time as any to thank you all for the business we have done. My wife quit her job when we had our daughter back in June and there’s no way I could have made ends meet without working with all the men who frequent this site. I’ve had a huge influx of readers and clients from other bloggers who have either liked what I write or done consultations themselves and want to specifically say thanks to those men for what they’ve done to help me along the way.

My goal is to be able to have Masculine Style be my sole source of income by July 2014 and I look forward to being able to make improvements in my content and services. While I may not get the most comments or have the highest traffic, I appreciate the core group of readers I have and have genuinely enjoyed helping you learn a crucial aspect of presenting your worth as a man to the world around you. Thanks.

On Being a Dad

Contrary to what you may hear in other corners of the manosphere, getting married and having children are not a default weak choice for a weak man. There are plenty of men who take the risk after assessing it the best they can and still decide that the chance to have experiences like what is captured in the picture above are worth the risk.

Dads and husbands can still be physically active and in shape. We can still be socially dominant. We can still be successful in business ventures. We can still maintain close bonds with other men. We can still be stylish. We can still be leaders. We can still be men.

Anyone who tells you that the traditional route is where a good man’s Game goes to die is either too naive or too scared to admit that it’s still a viable option for many of us.

PS. Have you gotten your Style Evaluation? It’s a great way to know the strengths and weaknesses of your current wardrobe.

The Dinosaur Vote

Makes about as much sense as any other special-interest group we continue to cater to. Except dinosaurs are cooler than feminists.

A Masculine Approach to Life

“When you go in the lion’s den, you don’t tippy toe in. You carry a spear, you go in screaming like a banshee, you kick whatever doors in, and say, ‘Where’s the son of a bitch!’ If you go in any other way you’re gonna lose.”

Making the Transition

30 August, 2012

Was working with a client this week who said this in one of his emails

Also, dressing well isn’t an easy thing to do at first, is it? It takes balls and conviction to really get what you want and say no to things that may not be the best for your fit/personality/ even budget. Building a wardrobe SHOULD take time. In the past year, with lots of help from your blog, I’ve been able to get away from the graphic Ts, ill-fitting pants/shorts/dress shirts.

We’ve exchanged a few emails back and forth over the months and he really is making improvements. Not only he is wearing better clothing, he’s wearing it more comfortably and it’s looking more natural on him. His whole countenance has changed and the nervous smile I saw in earlier pictures has turned into a confident smirk.

Take your time, learn the rules, make mistakes, experiment – these are all masculine ways of approaching things and there’s no reason this shouldn’t apply to improving your wardrobe as well.

PS. Tomorrow’s the last day to get a Basic Consultation for only $15.
